Terms of Service

1.Agreement

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. We record the policy version you accept and when you accepted it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2.Who may use the Service; minors

• The Service is used by athletes, parents and guardians, college coaches, clubs and teams, and agencies.
• Minimum age to create your own account: 13.We ask for a date of birth before any account is created. A younger athlete's signup is placed on hold until a parent or guardian completes it through our parental-consent process.
• Athletes under 18need a parent or guardian's consent before they can be discovered by coaches, and a separate consent before their contact details can be shared (see the Privacy Policy, section 8). A parent or guardian who gives consent confirms they have the authority to do so for that athlete.
• Your registration information must be accurate, and you agree to keep it current.

3.Accounts and security

You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. We offer two-factor authentication and recommend turning it on. Tell us about any unauthorized use at privacy@playambition.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a safety or security risk.

4.Your content: profiles, photos and film

• You keep ownership of the profile information, photos and game film you upload (“Your Content”).
• You grant Ambition a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transcode, reproduce and adapt Your Content (for example to generate clips, thumbnails and streaming renditions) and to display it — only to operate the Service and to present you to the audiences you have consented to, such as college coaches.
• You confirm you have the rights to what you upload and to the appearance of any identifiable person in it, and, where the athlete is a minor, that a parent or guardian has consented.
• Game recordings are kept for a limited time after a game and then deleted (see the Privacy Policy, section 7); clips you save and a featured showcase game are kept beyond that.

5.Acceptable use

You will not:

• upload unlawful, harassing or infringing content, or any sexual content involving minors (section 6);
• misrepresent your identity, age, or authority to act for an athlete or organization;
• scrape, bulk-extract or resell other users' data;
• attempt to bypass consent, visibility, rate-limit or security controls;
• use recruiting outreach for spam or for purposes unrelated to legitimate recruiting;
• use the Service to contact a minor outside the consented recruiting context.

6.Content screening and reporting

Video posted to the Service is screened against known child sexual abuse material before it can be published. A confirmed match is quarantined immediately and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities. Report a child-safety concern to safety@playambition.com.

7.Recruiting outreach

The Service sends recruiting messages between athletes or clubs and coaches through a relay address and keeps a record of that correspondence to operate and protect the Service. Coaches receive a minor's contact details only where the applicable consent has been given; coaches' own email addresses are never shown to athletes. Outreach may be rate-limited, and a coach who unsubscribes from outreach will not be contacted through it again. Where a coach texts an athlete through the Service, the message is sent by our SMS provider and logged in the same way.

8.Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans (athlete, coach, team, club and agency tiers) are billed by our payment processor, Stripe, monthly or annually as you choose, and renew automatically until you cancel. Annual plans are billed once a year at the discounted rate shown at checkout.
• You can change, cancel or update your card in Manage billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep the plan until then.
• Custom-quoted club plans are billed at the amount quoted and accepted in-app.
• We will give you notice before any price change takes effect on your plan.

9.College directory and third-party services

The Service includes a directory of college programs and coaches compiled from public athletics websites and maintained with automated checks. A coach may ask us to correct or remove their entry, or opt out of outreach, at privacy@playambition.com. We rely on the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy to run the Service.

10.Data rights and deletion

You — or, for a minor, a linked parent or guardian — can export, delete or anonymize your account data as described in the Privacy Policy (section 6).

11.Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is. We do not guarantee recruiting outcomes, scholarships, roster spots or coach responses, and we do not verify that any recruiting activity complies with NCAA, NAIA, conference or school rules — that responsibility is yours. Beta partners keep their free access for the length of the beta program.

14.Changes to these Terms

These Terms are versioned and your acceptance is recorded. We will tell you about material changes, and where the law requires it we will ask you to accept them again before you continue using the Service.
